Duane Reed Gallery) , Karen Karnes & Thomas Mann (Ferrin Gallery) and Richard Royal join moderator Bruce Pepich, executive director of the Racine Art Museum, WI, to discuss the career-threatening emergencies each experienced in their lives. They will describe what it took to sustain their careers during challenging times and how their experiences affected their work. Presented by the Craft Emergency Relief Fund. FILM PREMIERE - room 305 3:30 PM From the Inside: The Work of Karen Karnes followed by a conversation between artist Karen Karnes and filmmaker Lucy Phenix moderated by Mark Shapiro CERF AT SOFA HURRICANE RELIEF DINNER CRUISE 8:15 – 10:30 Leaves from Navy Pier - Join artists and collectors on a dinner boat cruise on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan to raise money for Hurricane Relief.
